• Choosing a career based on your interest timely defines you and your future growing up. Students don’t take this seriously in their teens when it is the time to focus on discovering what their interest is, what holds their excitement and challenge them to perform better. Unfortunately, in our system of education, it is heavily ignored, and no one even bothers to think about it for a second

• The focus is on getting marks and marks and the emphasis is on the grades and it is often preached, lectured and crammed that these grades are going t define your life. If you didn’t do well in Math’s, then you are a failure. if you failed to score good in biology and couldn’t become a doctor then you are miserable and a complete disappointment. This continuous pressure of doing good in these subjects leave students with only two options: Either you choose mathematics and become an engineer or become a doctor. The society will not accept you as successful if you didn’t become one of the above mentioned.

• Majority of the students end up chasing these two fields not that it is their dream, but the dream of the society and their parents forced on them. When did they meet with the reality that they failed to get into those schools then what’s left? The only thing left for those students is not knowing what they will do now because they were never made to think about in the first place. Many of them get themselves enrolled in fields related to biology and math’s because this is all they know.

• This system of cramming, chasing of someone else’s dreams, trying to fit into the societal good books, to escape from the fear of comparison to the neighbors’ doctor son next door or to the cousin who has scored well in the exams have left so many talented minds into fields they were never meant to be in.

• All of this has cost us so many young, beautiful, innocent souls that scum to death due to the pressure of not making it. This has brought us a machine that performs from 9 to 5 a day, keeps in faking that they are content, happy and enjoying their life.

• There’s a saying that when your passion becomes your work then you are the happiest but when you don’t even know what your passion is, what drives you crazy than how are you going to perform or chase it down? We are producing students with degrees and not with passion, not with the desire to excel at what they do, not the minds that aims at the stars, not the heart that loves to dance to the beat of the raindrops, not the soul that smiles with joy when meets with their true self and all of this has produced people who are passionless, soul-less, desire. Dreams collapse and with that, the bodies crash too.
