Major Responsibilities

The Rector, as the academic and administrative head of PlEAS, will provide dynamic
leadership in planning, managing and realization of excellence in education, research and development activities.

Qualification & Experience

• Preferably PhD in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
• More than 20 years of experience in Academic and Research activities with at least 5 years in Higher Education Management ro1e(0 preferably in BPS-21/SPS-12 or equivalent.

Preferably first class academic career, however, one second division may be allowed except in final degree.

• Preferably, fifteen research publications with at lean five publications in the lost five years In HEC recognized journals.

Terms and Conditions

• Upper age limit 15 60 years, which may be relaxed in outstanding/deserving cases,
• The appointment shall be on contract basis for on initial term of three years. The contract will be extendable subject to performance.
