Second Lieutenant Abdul Moeed, is embraced with Shahadat during an ambush attack

Yesterday 13 December, Abdul Moeed Shaheed, Second Lieutenant buried in Cavalry Ground graveyard with full Honor. He was only twenty one year old and Moeed had newly graduated from the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), the eldest of four siblings. Terrorists fired on army vehicle in North Waziristan and Moeed and Sepoy Basharat were martyred. Funeral prayers were offered in his Village and after that Shaheed’s body was taken to Lahore. At the time of funeral, Shaheed’s relatives, Army authorities Lt Gen Aamer Riaz, the Punjab Rangers chief were there. Sepoy Basharat Shaheed’body was also buried in his resident village with full army honor in presence of -Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman and other senior military and civilian officials after Funeral prayers. Basharat had three years of military service.

Moeed's father said during a talk with a News channel that he considers himself a Proud Father after his Son’s Shahadat. His mother said, she is proud of her son and the profession he chose and Moeed earned respect for himself.

"Think not of those as dead who are killed in the way of Allah. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision”. He's a shaheed and definitely in the best ranks of Jannah. InshaAllah. May Allah give patience to you all to go through it.
