Most Important Government Departments in Which You Must Apply

Pakistan with its continued economic struggle and political instability has suffered and is still falling short at work in many of the departments. The negligence of the Human resource sector and the work done for Human development in the country is not satisfactory. The failure of the governments to prioritize their responsibilities and perform according to the demands made by the people has contributed to the growing health, education and employment issues.

Amongst the other prevailing issues in the country, one of the largest and dangerous issues is of increasing unemployment. Many of the government departments are working to introduce jobs for young people to keep them away from following the wrong paths. The education department is one of the most important and crucial one in the country and it also has the potential to incorporate people who can not only help the department perform better but also grow with the continuous induction of fresh and young minds into the department. There were reports of discrepancies at the department’s end but then the government came up with the system of ‘National testing system’ to ensure merit and accountability in the department functioning. Education sector generates jobs on a regular basis and the female gender in majority find those jobs satisfactory and the work environment suits them. The taboo that women can only work in the education sector is changing now as women have started to work in other departments as well.

Along with the education department, the health department also contributes when it comes to the creation of employment opportunities. The changing world trends have forced the field to expand its horizon and now the fields of nutrition and psychology are being treated as proper subjects with their due jobs in the hospitals.

Apart from these two most common and important sectors, the department of Pakistan Army, Pakistan Airforce and Navy generate jobs to facilitate young people in finding a career which gives them the security and assurance of a future with perks and privileges. The department of Rangers and Police also their jobs being offered every year and these jobs start from lower ranks to upper ranks catering all the people who are less educated and the more educated ones.

The other departments include National accountability Bureau commonly referred as NAB, Federal Investigation Bureau as FIA and the federal board of revenue FBR also advertise jobs for the interested people who want to work in these departments to contribute to the state. The Municipal corporations, the taxation departments, Pakistan International airline and other government, semi-government and private departments help people find their careers and build their future. The non-government organizations, the multi-corporations, and chains of different international brands are also contributing to creating jobs for the people. The NGO’s are working in Pakistan in significant numbers and people with social work background and social science can work with them as this kind of work suits them. The number of jobs being created by all these departments is definitely not sufficient but it is important to highlight their contribution alongside the criticism to help them evolve.
