Annual job creation in Pakistan by The United Nations Development Program (UNDP)

United Nations Development Program (UNDP) is the development program by the UN’s Globe. This is an organization which recommends making changes in knowledge, experience and resources of countries in order to give the residents a standard of life. This program is currently working in 166 countries, and giving them the solutions of the global and national development challenges.

UNDP also works in Pakistan and suggest the global and national challenges faced by Pakistan in upcoming years.

Government will introduce National Job Portal for all Job Seekers

One of the most recent challenge is the Annual job creation in Pakistan by The United Nations Development Program (UNDP). According to the UNDP report Pakistan needs to generate more than 1.3 million jobs every year because the young people who attain the working age is almost rising to the four million to five million by 2035.According to the International Labor Organization (ILO) unemployment rate between the age of 15 to 24 in Pakistan is more than 10.8%. This is higher than in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

UNDP has started Young Professional Program (YPP) in Pakistan, which helps Pakistan to overcome this highly intensive global challenge. Pakistan also started some program to compete with this challenge like “E-Rozgar” etc. One of the best steps taken by the government of Pakistan to reduce the unemployment rate in youth is the “Prime minister laptop scheme”. With these programs, Pakistan may be able to compete for this challenge.
