The Government of Sindh is committed to take effective measures to improve the quality of health delivery system and upgrade it and make it responsive to the needs of population of the province of Sindh. The scheme "COVID-19 Response & Other Natural Calamities Control Program Sindh" is funded by the Federal and Provincial Government of Sindh on 50:50 cost sharing basis to strengthen the secondary health facilities of the Province of Sindh to prepare and respond to the pandemic like situations by strengthening essential health services across the board along with strengthening systems for public health preparedness specially to help the vulnerable public to cope with the immediate catastrophic impact of the pandemic/ epidemic.

There is a dire need to equip the healthcare system on permanent and sustainable basis in order to enhance its capacities to prevent and address the future outbreaks, pandemics and epidemics in the Country. For smooth implementation of the Project, the Provincial Project Management Unit (PMU) as well as Regional and District Surveillance units will be established under the Project to improve real time surveillance and introduce early detection system to prevent / control future disease outbreaks, for which applications are invited from suitable candidates having Domicile of Sindh Province to recruit following staff on fixed pay purely on contract basis for a period of two years. The Government of Sindh has granted permission to hire staff vide SGA&CD Notification No. S011 (SGA&CD) 12-1/2022 dated 25.02.2022.

Data Entry Operator Salary Package (Rs:70,000/-)	Max 30	4	Diploma in Computer Sciences.	She/ he will assist District Surveillance Officer. Epidemiologist cum Surveillance Officer and Deputy Director General CDC / Relevant authority. She/ he will be responsible for recording and compilation of surveillance reports. Any other duty assigned by Officer
Peon Salary Package (Rs:22,500/=)	Max 35	8	Middle pass. Work Experience in public/ private sector will be preferred.	She/ he will maintain and keep cleanliness of the Office Furniture, Accessories, Equipment, etc. She/ he will facilitate and assist the officers and officials. She/ he will deliver of mail / paper (internally + externally of the office/ Ministry. Other duties assigned by the concerned officer.
Driver Salary Package (Rs:28.000/-)	Max 35	8	Middle pass holding required driving license. - 03 year driving expe- rience.	She/ he will work with Officers of PMU / Deputy Director General Health Services CDC.
Sanitary Workers Salary Package (Rs:22,500/=)	Max 35	2	Work Experience in public/ private sector will be preferred.	She/ he will maintain and keep complete cleanliness of the Office premises. Office Furniture, etc.
Chowkidar Salary Package (Rs:22,500/=)	Max 35	2	Middle pass Work Experience in public/ private sector will be preferred.	Keep very watch on the office belongings including hardware, furniture, etc. Keep vigilance on outsiders on their intrusion in office. Other duties assigned by the concerned officer.

District Surveillance Officer Salary Package (Rs:150,000/=)	Max 35	30	Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology Or relevant Social Science. proven years p 02 y experience of data analysis, epidemiological analysis and having knowledge of Health management system including & surveillance.	She/he will work under supervision of Directorate General Health Service, but report through DHO. She/he will assist them for carrying out assigned duties of surveillance & monitoring. She/he will also take part in all Surveillance & Monitoring related activities at field level as and when required by the District, Divisional and Provincial management She/ he utilize of software systems and graphics to in preparation/ generation of reports. She/ he will also assist his Supervisors and get in touch with other provinces for timely collection and compilation of data She/ he will ensure proper data collection and compilation. She/ he establish data quality standards and data collection techniques and ensure data is protected and backed-up. She/ he make sure the surveillance data is properly disseminated to all relevant stakeholders keeping on board the DHO
